Every summer, thousands of people arrive on the Llŷn asking the same questions. Is the sea safe to swim today? What’s open in Aberdaron on a wet Tuesday? Where’s a good chippy near the beach?
Until now, the answers were scattered — buried in a dozen Facebook groups, out-of-date websites, and word of mouth. Visitors muddled through. And local businesses, the ones who actually make this place special, were invisible to the very people standing three streets away looking for them.
We built llyn.live to fix that.
A living map of the whole peninsula
llyn.live shows the Llŷn as it is right now. Live weather and tides. Beach water quality straight from Natural Resources Wales. Every café, pub, shop, campsite, beach and attraction on one map — filterable, bilingual, and free for anyone to use.
No other guide does this, because no big national directory cares enough about one Welsh peninsula to keep it live and local. We do — because this is home, and Anything Digital, the business behind llyn.live, is based right here.

llyn.live is built and run by Anything Digital — a web and digital studio based on the Llŷn. We’re not a Silicon Valley app dropping in to hoover up a corner of Wales. We’re your neighbours, we know the difference between Abersoch in August and Aberdaron in January, and we’ve staked our own name on getting this right.
