Somebody was always going to build the platform for this peninsula. We’d rather it was us — people who live here, know the roads in February as well as August, and answer the phone when you ring. Every business that joins makes it better for the next one.

Running holiday accommodation? From 1 October 2026, Welsh law requires every visitor-accommodation provider to register with the Welsh Revenue Authority for the Wales Visitor Levy — whether or not Gwynedd adopts it locally. Levy Ledger handles registration, record-keeping and filing for you, and gives your property its own page on the Stay map too.

There are only 530 Founder places — ever. They are never recycled. Once they’re gone, membership is £89 a year. Founders keep £53 for as long as they stay.

The Llŷn Business Community

Running a business out here can be a lonely job. There’s no chamber of commerce for the peninsula, no easy way to ask the person down the road what they’re charging, who they use for a boiler repair, or whether anyone else is quiet this week.

So we’re building one. A private group for Llŷn businesses only — share what’s working, pass on trade, warn each other about the cowboys, sort out cover in a pinch, and get first sight of what we’re building next.

In development now, launching shortly. Founder members get in first, at no extra cost.

You already know if this works — you’re looking at it

This isn’t a directory that gets built and then sits there. Have a look around the site before you decide:
