It’s Christmas 1945 in New York, and the cast of WAFR’s Playhouse of the Air is broadcasting a Charles Dickens story live. Trotty Veck, a gentle ticket-porter whose days run to the church bells, is carried up the bell tower and given one chance to change his world. Lighthouse Theatre tell it with music, carols, jingles and bells.
